Our St. Gabriel Building Project is just getting underway. Fr. William Wagner of
the General Council of the Order in Rome came out in May for the meetings with
the Architect, Duncan Stroik. We have a preliminary design which will still
undergo some changes. Once the designs are final, we will place a rendering on
our website. We ask for your continued prayers as we make these very important
decisions for the future generations of the Order.
In the picture you see the first plan, with the Brothers’ monastery on the right, the Romanesque chapel in the center, the Opus Angelorum National Center on the left, and the Sisters’ convent behind, or perhaps more to the left of the OA center. On the following page you see the interior of the chapel, which will seat approximately 100 persons.
Development Campaign: Several projects for the fundraising are developing, with the help of our membership. Among others, one lady in California is sponsoring angel necklaces to support the new monastery. Another lady is running a booth at the Catholic Family Conference. Many have signed up for monthly donations of $25 (or more!), but we still need more. We are grateful for all your support, and ask you to please continue and to help spread the word! May God reward you and the holy angels take you under their special protection
